When I first started out making amature films, I had no idea where to acquire all my sound effects and visual effects from. And then at a few points in time, I wanted to get some video recordings straight from my monitor(without using my video camera which looks absolutely terrible when used to record your monitor).
Over the years I've managed to get my hands on some good free programs; but the reason why I made this video is because of the comments in a lot of videos I watch saying about how would they be able get their hands on the audio or visual found in some videos.
So I went ahead and made another How To video, with clear (I hope) step by step instructions on where to get all the programs that I use to acquire nearly all my effects, with step by step instructions on how to use them.
